Caroline Shephard

Senior associate

Caroline is a senior associate within the residential property and conveyancing team based in our Oxford office. She has experience advising on all aspects of freehold and leasehold transactions including sales, purchases, purchases off-plan, transfers of equity, re-mortgages and refinancing portfolios.

She also works with a number of smaller-scale residential developers, preparing the contract pack for the estate and subsequently acting for the developer on plot sales. Caroline’s clients range from people buying their first home to those selling and buying prime residential property, whether as private individuals or as investors. Her focus is on providing a practical and personalised legal service, while being approachable and building a strong working relationship with her clients. She works closely with members of Penningtons Manches Cooper’s private client, tax and family teams to provide support on property-related matters.

I understand that until the completion date, buying or selling property can be a very stressful experience. I consider it my privilege to take as much of that stress away by providing regular contact, being accessible on the phone and by email and working efficiently and effectively.
