Andrew is an associate in the banking and finance team. He has experience in a broad range of banking and finance matters, including real estate finance, acquisition finance, receivables financing, general finance solutions for businesses, general banking, and other credit facilities and financial services.

He has acted for banks and financial institutions, as well as businesses operating in different sectors, such as financial services, real estate, shipping, technology, energy, retail and education. Andrew has experience assisting with cross-jurisdictional transactional and regulatory matters, and has worked with banks, financial institutions and businesses from various jurisdictions including the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, the US, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore. He has also worked with lawyers in these jurisdictions as well as various other European, Asian and Oceanian jurisdictions.

I am a banking and finance lawyer acting for and advising banks, financial institutions and businesses on various kinds of credit facility transactions. I have been complimented by clients for my attention to detail, and proactive attitude towards client matters.

Andrew joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in Hong Kong at an international law firm, before moving to the UK and working for another UK top 50 law firm.

Assisting a major UK retail and commercial bank with a loan to a large specialist scaffolding service provider, to part finance the acquisition of a company from shareholders due to group restructuring.

Advising a private investment company on its multiple term loan facilities to a leading English short-term bridging finance provider for on-lending to various businesses in connection with UK properties.
