Court of Protection and deputyships
Aliesha is an associate in the Court of Protection team, based in the firm’s Basingstoke office. Having specialised in Court of Protection law since starting her legal career in 2018, she has genuine dedication and passion for this area and, in particular, all matters concerning property and finances.
She is experienced in assisting clients and both lay/professional deputies in dealing with large compensation sums resulting from medical negligence or personal injury claims. Aliesha has been involved with complex deputyships and has made various applications to the Court of Protection on behalf of professional and lay deputies. She has a particular interest in matters with cross-jurisdictional elements.
My intention is always to act in the client’s best interests, and this is done by building a professional, positive relationship with them and those important to them. I consider it a genuine privilege to be able to assist clients in striving towards a better future.
Aliesha qualified as a solicitor in 2024. Recognising that the nature of her work often means that clients have gone through an extremely difficult time, her approach is to show kindness, and to ensure clients have every opportunity to be empowered. She regularly works alongside counsel, litigation solicitors, case managers, and carers to ensure that clients’ needs are met.
