Kitty is an associate in the private client team, specialising in contentious trusts and probate. She acts on an array of trust and estate litigation issues including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, will validity disputes, disputes around the removal of trustees and personal representatives, estate and trust administration disputes, claims relating to proprietary estoppel and estate co-ownership disputes.
Kitty also advises on contentious applications in the Court of Protection involving vulnerable individuals. In addition to contentious work, Kitty has experience in non-contentious private client matters including the drafting of wills, estate administration and the drafting and registration of lasting powers of attorney.
After studying history at the University of Cardiff, Kitty joined the firm as a trainee in 2019 and qualified as a solicitor in 2021. She is a member of the Contentious Trusts Association (ConTrA) as well as Penningtons Manches Cooper’s CSR committee.
