Profile

Hatem is an associate in the corporate team assisting on a wide variety of transactional and general advisory matters for clients across different sectors. He has primarily advised on M&A transactions, but also on venture capital transactions and joint venture and shareholder arrangements. Hatem also has experience in cross-border transactions and commercial matters, and is able to seamlessly manage counsels in different jurisdictions.

Prior to commencing his training contract, he spent eight years in the UAE, principally advising on foreign direct investment across the GCC states, and helping businesses structure operations and navigate complex licensing and jurisdictional red tape.

Hatem joined the firm after qualifying in April 2021.

Advising on the disposal of a UK-headquartered, owner-managed electronic manufacturing services provider and its overseas group entities to a PE house, and subsequent sellers’ re-investment.
Acting on the disposal of a UK-headquartered IT service management solutions provider and its overseas group entities to a Canadian buy-and-hold acquirer of software businesses.
Advising a European provider of measurement technology solutions on its private investment into a UK-based sensor technology manufacturer.
Acting for an estate on its joint venture arrangements with an events company.
