Profile

Daniel is a senior associate in the London private client team. He has experience in the full range of private client services, with a particular focus on UK and international tax issues for high net worth individuals, families and trustees, including providing tax advice on moving to the UK and on existing structures. Daniel also advises on wills, trusts, succession planning, administration of estates and powers of attorney.

He is a student member of STEP, the world’s leading organisation for private wealth professionals, and is currently studying for the STEP diploma focusing on the administration of estates, trusts, and the taxation and accounting of trusts and estates.

Daniel featured in eprivateclient’s 'Top 35 Under 35' list for young private client practitioners and the Citywealth Future Leaders list in 2015.

Recent work highlights

Advising a high net worth family relocating to the UK on UK tax residence, domicile, the remittance basis of taxation and pre-arrival tax planning.
Providing guidance to offshore trustees on the restructuring options in relation to an underlying UK residential property as well as the UK tax implications.
Advising a UK resident and a US national on the UK tax implications of their US trusts.
