Social housing specialist joins Penningtons Manches Cooper as new co-head of home ownership

The social housing team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has announced the appointment of senior associate Adam Crawford, a social housing specialist with a wealth of experience in shared ownership and new build conveyancing.

Adam joins the firm from Prince Evans Solicitors, where he was the head of the award-winning specialist new build homes team. At Penningtons Manches Cooper, Adam will be assuming the role of co-head of home ownership, acting for housing associations, registered providers, private developers and local authorities in all conveyancing matters relating to the sale of new build property and other home ownership initiatives.

With particular expertise in new development site set ups for both shared ownership and private sale, as well as all aspects of registered providers and developers’ ongoing conveyancing requirements, Adam’s arrival serves to further strengthen the capability of the Penningtons Manches Cooper’s thriving social housing practice.

Clients of the firm’s well-respected team – which comprises over 60 lawyers – include some of the largest providers in the country, through to organisations with fewer than 1,000 homes. The team also works with local authorities, local housing companies, charities and private developers.
