Penningtons Manches Cooper expands social housing team with new partner

Top 50 law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper has appointed Sanjeev Shah as a partner in its highly successful social housing practice.

Based in the firm’s London and Cambridge offices, his wide-ranging experience in property development and regeneration projects will boost the team’s existing capabilities.

Sanjeev’s expertise spans a number of areas, including strategic site assembly, land led and S106 site acquisitions for housing development. He also provides comprehensive advice relating to construction, planning, infrastructure and funding arrangements for these transactions as well as site set ups for mixed tenure residential sales.

His clients include registered providers of affordable housing, private developers and other placemaking organisations. He was previously a partner at Perrin Myddelton advising clients in the Midlands, East Anglia and Hertfordshire. Sanjeev is recognised by The Legal 500 as a leading individual, and by the Chambers UK as a top ranked lawyer for his work in the sector.
