Penningtons Manches Cooper advises Customs Support Group, Europe’s leading independent digital provider of customs services, on the acquisition of Britannia Bureau Limited

The corporate team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised Netherlands-based Customs Support Group on the acquisition of Britannia Bureau Limited. Headquartered in the Netherlands, Customs Support Group is Europe’s leading independent digital provider of customs services, employing more than 1,500 dedicated customs professionals serving over 15,000 customers annually.

This is the third UK-based acquisition Customs Support has made this year as it continues to strengthen its local presence in the UK.

Britannia Bureau was founded in 2009 and delivers state of the art, fully digitalised customs and international trade processes, focussing on the delivery of solutions in the freight and logistics sectors.

The team advising Customs Support was led by corporate partner Adam McGiveron, and included support from corporate partner Emma Bryant, real estate associate Lauren Winch, corporate tax partner Kathy Hills and corporate paralegal Kajol Harrar.
