Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised on the sale of Snapbytes to Appfire, a leading US provider of software development apps.
With more than 4,300 global installations of its IT Service Management (ITSM) applications, Snapbytes is the maker of the most-downloaded service-level agreement app on the Atlassian Marketplace - one of the largest enterprise software marketplaces. The sale reflects Appfire’s ongoing commitment to ITSM growth and the Snapbytes deal will enable Appfire to deliver deeper integrations, workflow enhancements, and other new and exciting capabilities for businesses worldwide.
Appfire will take on Snapbytes’ entire product portfolio, as well as its app development team, including a dozen software engineers and support professionals.

The deal was led by corporate partner Will Axtell and senior associate Dominique Sabatini, with support from Chris Shelley and Nora Pook in the commercial/IP team and Kathy Hills and Leonie Langley who provided tax advice.
