Cambridge team has its eye on the ones to watch

Posted: 03/03/2020

With its experience of advising growing companies, the team at Penningtons Manches Cooper in Cambridge knows what it takes to have an idea and make a success of it. That’s why it’s once again showing support for #21towatch, a celebration of the innovative people, companies and things happening across the region.

Set up by corporate communications specialists Cofinitive, the awards are in their second year and nominations have been coming in, from which a shortlist will be drawn by a panel of expert judges. The winners, seven from the three categories of people, companies and things, will be announced at a special event in March: they will be chosen against the criteria of innovation, challenge, influence, viability and memorability. Penningtons Manches Cooper was one of the inaugural sponsors of the event last year when winners went on to achieve great things, including greater visibility, additional investment and new clients.

The Cambridge team has high hopes for the coming year. “There are so many exciting ideas coming out of Cambridgeshire and the wider East Anglia area and #21towatch offers an excellent opportunity for them to be recognised and helped along in their journey to success,” says Rachel Bradley, commercial, IP & IT partner at Penningtons Manches Cooper. “We’re delighted to show our support for these awards again and to offer our expertise in working with small companies and helping them on their journey to success be it through our expertise in IP, life sciences, employment, property or commercial law.”
