Success for Penningtons Manches partners in eprivateclient's Top 35 Under 35 list

Lucy Edwards and James d’Aquino, London-based partners in Penningtons Manches’ private client and tax team – part of the firm’s wider private wealth group - are featured on eprivateclient’s Top 35 Under 35 2018 list. The eprivate client list is designed to identify and promote the rising stars of the private client professions.

Lucy, who helps in leading Penningtons Manches’ sub-sector group focused on international assets and inward investments, advises high net worth individuals, families and trustees on a range of private wealth issues, including tax and trust matters. Her work focuses on wealth and succession planning for UK and international families, including remittance and pre-immigration planning, tax-efficient financial arrangements post-divorce, succession planning for family businesses and administering complex estates.

James specialises in providing tax, trust and succession planning to ultra high net worth individuals. He advises on UK and international tax issues, owner-managed business succession planning, administration of estates and powers of attorney. James’ international client base and understanding of the ever-evolving UK tax system ensures he can provide advice based on extensive experience on regularising clients’ UK tax affairs.

The news follows four members of Penningtons Manches’ private wealth group, including Lucy Edwards, being shortlisted for categories in the Citywealth 2018 Future Leaders Awards. The awards champion young professionals under 40 in the sector. Members of the private wealth group are also nominated in Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite 2018 and Ones to Watch 2018 lists. The London-based private client team was also recently named runner up in the Law Firm of the Year - London category at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.
