Penningtons Manches has announced three key promotions in its award-winning private wealth team: private client specialist Lucy Edwards, family specialist Edward Floyd and contentious private client expert Henrietta Mason have all been made up to partner in the firm’s latest round of promotions.
Lucy Edwards has been with the firm since 2009 and her work focuses on wealth and succession planning for UK and international families. She was named as one of eprivateclient's 'Top 35 Under 35' and received the gold award in the 'Lawyer of the Year - Associate' category at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards in 2016. A recommended lawyer in The Legal 500 2017 and an active member of STEP, Lucy was also an award winner at the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards 2015 and features in its Leaders List and Future Leaders 100 List for 2017.
Having trained and qualified with the firm, Edward Floyd advises on all legal issues arising from relationship breakdown, and, increasingly, in preparing and negotiating marital agreements. He was named ‘Associate to Watch’ in this year’s Chambers HNW guide and a ‘Rising Star’ in the Spear’s 500 guide. Edward was recently invited to speak at an IAFL young lawyers’ conference in Moscow and co-authored the England & Wales chapter of Thomson Reuters’ Family Law: A Global Guide (2018).
Henrietta Mason advises on all aspects of contentious trusts and succession. She features in the Citywealth Leaders List and is listed as a ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ in The Legal 500. She is co-author of Probate Disputes and Remedies, a member of the Law Society Wills and Equity Committee, and has served as Vice President of the Private Client Committee in both the American Bar Association Section of International Law and the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA).
Private wealth is a key area of focus and investment for the firm and these appointments reflect the continued commitment to Penningtons Manches' high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
