June brought a variety of interesting insight to the fashion world. E-tailers took a potential hit with a sales tax ruling in the US which may negatively impact them, but does it offer some redress for retailers with a bricks and mortar presence there? The House of Fraser CVA has been approved and projections of the reducing value of the fashion industry have brought some doom and gloom to the retail space. On a positive note, sustainability and ethics have been a key theme with consumers and MPs alike caring about the source and impact of fast fashion.
