Penningtons Manches' life sciences team wins industry specialist award for the fifth time

The life sciences team at Penningtons Manches has won the Corporate Intl Global Award for 'Life Sciences Law Firm of the Year in England' for the fifth year in a row.

Partner Jim Kinnier Wilson, who leads the team, said: "We’re delighted to have been recognised in this category once again. We have a very talented group of specialists – many with a scientific background ourselves – working closely with some remarkable businesses from across the life sciences sector. I’m proud of what we have achieved in the last year and am confident we’ll continue to go from strength to strength."

The awards promote leading firms in their chosen specialisms following a detailed research process carried out by independent research and editorial teams. The focus is on service type, service range, business type, geographical location, how the business operates and the expertise each team can offer.

The team acts for small and medium sized clients, larger plcs and multi-national enterprises and also works closely with research organisations. Deals recently completed by the team’s corporate practitioners include advising on a number of fundraisings, share placings and takeovers.

Last week the life sciences team was a sponsor of the London Stock Exchange’s third annual 'Future of Healthcare Investor Forum' alongside JP Morgan, PwC, Numis and Consilium.
