Partner Chris Shelley to speak at this year’s JPPCLE seminar in New York on 27 April

Chris Shelley, a Penningtons Manches partner with over thirty years of experience in the fields of intellectual property, commercial law, and EU and UK competition laws has been invited to speak at this year’s Joint Patent Practice Continuing Legal Education (JPPCLE) seminar in New York City on 27 April. Chris’ talk will focus on the future of intellectual property rights in the UK after Brexit.

JPPCLE is an annual, one-day seminar featuring knowledgeable speakers, including judges, government officials, and experienced attorneys, who discuss recent cases, legislation, and regulations involving patent law and practice.

This year’s featured speakers include Honourable Richard Linn, the Senior Circuit Judge for the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Andrew Hirshfeld, the Commissioner for Patents for the US Patent and Trademark Office.
