Inaugural Spear’s 500 Guide features Penningtons Manches partners

The first ever edition of the Spear’s 500 Guide has just been launched. This ranks the top private client advisers, wealth managers and service providers for high net worth individuals. Two of Penningtons Manches’ family team are among only 50 top family lawyers named in the list. Partners James Stewart and Rebecca Carlyon are recognised as a ‘distinguished individual’ and ‘Young Turk’ respectively.

Spear’s describes the guide as a ‘landmark publishing event for the wealth management industry’, with hopes for it to become ‘the new bible of the industry for both HNWs and their advisers’. Everyone in the list has been peer-reviewed and validated with client feedback, ensuring that the lawyers’ specialisms, their outlook and their personality are all touched upon in the guide.

James and Rebecca are both noted for their involvement in the ‘headline-grabbing’ case of AI v MT as well as their international focus. James’ role as one of the founders of Collaborative Family Law is highlighted, and Rebecca is mentioned as being a qualified collaborative lawyer – something she says is appreciated by those clients who want to ‘resolve the issues arising from their separation or divorce on a round-table basis without court involvement’.
