Stuart Adams, a private client and tax solicitor at Penningtons Solicitors LLP, has been accepted as a full member of the national association Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), further strengthening the firm’s wide-ranging expertise in providing legal services for older people.
He was ranked as one of the top 35 under 35 private client advisers by Private Client Practitioner magazine in 2011 and 2012 and is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
SFE is an association of lawyers who specialise in legal services for older people and their carers. Members of SFE have a wealth of experience within this key legal area and they are required to have spent a substantial amount of time working for elderly clients. The aim of this national association is to improve the knowledge and service provided on legal issues such as tax planning, wills, enduring powers of attorney, long-term social and health care, and other retirement issues.
Stuart said: "As I specialise in advising UK and international families and family offices, I regularly work with elderly clients and I am looking forward to continuing my development in this area. The requirements of the elderly population change so this is a constantly evolving field of law where there is a growing demand for first class legal advice.”
