Penningtons tops the Inside Buzz 2013 law rankings

Within weeks of being ranked 46th in the ‘Top 100 Companies for Graduates to Work for’ guide published by The Job Crowd – and one of only three law firms – Penningtons Solicitors LLP has now been voted number one for ‘satisfaction with work’ by its trainees and solicitors.

In this year’s survey by Inside Buzz, 32 law firms distributed the survey to 1,089 trainees and solicitors, who submitted over 12,000 thoughts and comments on what it is like to work for their firms.

Penningtons was ranked number one in four categories: satisfaction with work, formal training, hours, and informal training and mentoring.

Inside Buzz’s commentary about the firm said: “Penningtons may be an unassuming firm, but with a long established private client practice, strong property, dispute resolution, corporate and commercial practices, as well as a niche providing services to American firms, write it off at your peril."

• number 1 in hours (9.43/10)
• number 1= in formal training (9.00/10)
• number 1 in satisfaction with work (8.71/10)
• number 1 in informal training and mentoring (8.86/10)
• number 2 in overall satisfaction (8.86/10)
• number 2 in culture (8.86/10)
• number 6 in diversity (8.43/10)
• number 12= in salary (7.71/10)
