Martin Codd, a partner in Penningtons' Commercial Property Division, was one of a panel of experts who went online earlier today to provide a sounding board for people seeking advice on the home buying process and the residential property market in general.
Alongside David Hollingworth of mortgage broker London & Country and specialists from property portal Zoopla, Martin took part in the Guardian's Money Blog which this week focused on house hunting. Over a 90 minute period, the team fielded questions on such issues as how to get an affordable mortgage lined up, purchasing properties at auction, the pros and cons of shared ownership and the differences between the English and Scottish house buying process. Martin handles a broad spectrum of property work and acts for many high net worth residential property clients and well known institutions which invest primarily in residential property.
