Penningtons ranked as top 25 private client law firm

Penningtons Solicitors LLP has been recognised as being among the top law firms in the UK in Private Client Practitioner magazine's latest analysis of the best private client law firms which has been published today.

The Top 25 Law Firms 2011 list is based on a range of criteria - from size of team and fee income to the number of clients, the number of families as clients and the number of offices each firm has. The judges also used their market knowledge of the private client field to reach their final rankings.

Penningtons' private client team has nine partners and 28 fee earners across its three offices and has a reputation for being at the cutting edge of developments in the private client field. It is also ranked as one of the top practices in the country by the two leading legal directories, Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession and The Legal 500.

Penningtons' inclusion in this new industry listing is the latest in a number of accolades for its private client lawyers this Spring. Citywealth, a leading publisher in the wealth management sector, has included five of its partners, Lesley Lintott, Chris Lintott, Laura Dadswell, Mike Cash and Julia Thackray, as well as solicitor Anna Bruce Smith, in its 'Leaders Lists' for 2011 which honour wealth managers and professional advisers.
