Enhancements made to visa service to attract Chinese visitors to the UK
As mentioned in our news item on 12 December 2012, the Home Office has introduced several new services to make it easier for Chinese visitors to enter the UK. China is becoming an increasingly important market for the UK in terms of business visitors, investors, entrepreneurs and tourists. Amid concern that visa requirements were dissuading wealthy Chinese travellers from coming to the UK, Home Secretary Theresa May has announced a number of enhancements to the visa service which she believes will make the UK a more attractive destination.
