  Our client had been suffering pain in his hand and wrist and found his grip affected and, therefore, his work as a plumber. He was advised to undergo routine carpal tunnel release surgery.
• Permanent symptoms following failure to diagnose an obvious infection in the shoulder post-operatively
  Our client, who was a keen golfer and fisherman, had what was intended to be a straightforward arthroscopy procedure to his right shoulder following the onset of pain.
• Development of acute renal failure caused by inadequate management of antibiotics
  Our client was admitted to hospital with a diagnosis of peritonitis, an inflammation of the stomach lining. Although she initially made a good recovery, she became increasingly ill and subsequently went into septic shock.
