Tendon damage during podiatric surgery

Our client was advised by a podiatric surgeon that she needed a tibial tendon augmentation to improve her pain and mobility.

The surgery made our client's condition worse and she has since attended several orthopaedic consultants who have advised that the original surgery appears to be incomplete.

She is to undergo revision surgery and we are investigating the extent to which the original surgery was negligent.
