Severe injuries after paragliding lesson during Spanish holiday

We are currently acting on behalf of a claimant injured in a paragliding accident in Spain.

Our client was harnessed to an instructor for a tandem flight but, shortly after take off, he became detached from the harness and fell approximately 30 m onto rocks below, sustaining severe leg injuries.

The incident occurred during a recreational excursion organised by a local paragliding company. Preliminary investigations suggest potential failures in the equipment and safety procedures used during the flight.

The claim – for over €500,000 – is being brought against the instructor and the insurer, alleging negligence and breach of duty of care. Expert evidence is being gathered to support the extent of the injuries and the liability of the parties involved.
