Rehabilitation for injured architect after devastating DUI collision
Our personal injury specialists are acting for a young architect who was driving his car when it was hit head-on by a motorist who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
The young man was referred to us by one of the barristers chambers that we have worked with on a number of other cases. As a result of his accident, he suffered multiple orthopaedic injuries but also a dissection of his vertebral arteries due to the force of the impact, effectively resulting in a severe stroke. He has experienced extensive difficulties and is still undergoing rehabilitation with an uncertain prognosis.
Liability has been admitted and we are working on funding rehabilitation for him including the appointment of a case manager, therapy team and support workers. We are also sourcing alternative rented accommodation that is wheelchair accessible.
