Inappropriate prostatectomy and negligent surgery
Our client underwent a prostatectomy for which no prior tests or investigations had been conducted. The surgery itself left him incontinent and impotent and despite attempts at remedial surgery these problems remained.
We successfully claimed on his behalf both that the surgery performed was inappropriate and the damage caused to his external sphincter and vera montanum was a result of negligent surgery.
