Compensation for injuries sustained by driver through unsafe working practices

Our client worked as an HGV driver for a haulage firm. Part of his job involved repetitive work opening and shunting large high-sided curtain HGV trailers many times a day.

Although he reported neck difficulties resulting from these activities to his employers, they failed to remedy his working practice. As a result, he sustained injuries.

With our intervention, his employers accepted that he had undertaken repetitive unsafe working practices resulting in injury and he was awarded £22,500 in compensation.
