Claim against health visitor for missed congenital abnormality
We acted for a young girl whose health visitor failed to suspect and identify a congenital hip dislocation that should have been detected as part of the health visitor's checks.
As a result of the delay in the diagnosis, our client's treatment options were limited and she had to undergo multiple operations to try to correct the deformity, which has also limited her mobility.
