Advising on re-design of Farnborough International's website

In September 2007, Farnborough International Limited commenced work on a major re-design of its website. The re-design necessitated a change of web development supplier with attendant service termination negotiations; creation of contracts for the new supplier; and various intellectual property issues including trade marks and brand protection on an international scale. Additionally, work was required to create and implement robust data protection and privacy policies, and most recently, oversee the acquisition of SSL certification.

Penningtons undertook the contractual and IP work for the website and Farnborough International Limited was extremely impressed with the level of service received. Joanne Vengadesan and her team were consistently meticulously thorough, ready with excellent, measured advice and extremely quick in responding to requests.

Penningtons’ work handling the contractual negotiation and implementation surrounding the termination of a service supplier’s contract was especially impressive. From a client’s perspective, having Joanne and her team working on an issue that required sensitive handling and decisive action was wonderfully reassuring.

Effectively, through its work on Farnborough’s intellectual property, Penningtons created a rock solid foundation from which not only to enhance web-based offerings and services but also for the company to launch new multi-media projects in the future.
