A good return for tennis court injury

We helped a female teaching assistant to recover £250,000 in damages for injuries sustained at work while helping in a PE lesson. The lesson took place on a disused tennis court which was made of a concrete-like material and had a very hard and slippery surface.

During the lesson our client fell, landing on her right side and hitting her shoulder. Despite extensive surgical treatment, she has been left with a severely restricted shoulder which will affect her ability to work, drive and care for herself for the rest of her life. She also suffered psychological injury from the trauma of the accident and injuries and the subsequent impact on her life.

The substantial award reflects both the past and future financial losses that our client has and will continue to sustain.
