We are seeking a business development executive to support the business development manager responsible for the real estate division, one of our key sectors, as well as the tenders manager on firmwide bids. The business development executive will be expected to build a good understanding of the work and marketplaces of the various teams within the division and to play a core role in helping those teams deliver their BD and marketing strategies, including profile building, client retention and development, new client targeting and sector and international development. While supporting the tenders manager, the BD executive will work on tender opportunities with teams across the firm, giving them a broad and varied experience of the range of sectors in which the firm operates. | No agencies please.

The main objectives of the role are to assist the MLRO and deputy MLRO in ensuring the firm’s compliance with financial crime legislation and its application of sound risk management. Responsibilities include reviewing KYC documentation and matter risk assessments, providing advice to fee earners on financial crime matters, drafting suspicious activity reports and other documents, reporting to the MLRO and deputy MLRO with recommendations on managing the firm’s financial crime risk and identifying patterns and maintaining an understanding of worldwide financial crime risks and how they may affect the firm. Additionally the role may include analysing and reporting on the firm’s exposure to particular work types, jurisdictions and matters posing a higher financial risk such as those with contingent funding arrangements. | No agencies please
