Warren, a solicitor-advocate with higher rights of audience in all civil courts, has specialised in handling catastrophic injury cases arising out of accidents, medical malpractice, assaults and product liability for over 30 years.

He is the chief assessor of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation scheme. He is a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a member of, and assessor for, APIL’s Spinal Cord Injury Specialist Panel and Brain Injury Specialist Panel. He is a regular trainer and widely published on a on all aspects of catastrophic injury law and is on the editorial board for BABICM (British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management).He has personally recovered in excess of £100 million in damages for his seriously injured clients.

His expertise is widely recognised by his peers and he is endorsed as a leader in his field in both the Legal 500 (where he is in the prestigious Lawyers’ Hall of Fame), and Chambers UK, where he has been ranked as leading expert for over two decades. He has won multiple awards including Catastrophic Injury Lawyer of the Year (2018 and 2025), Claimant Injury Lawyer of the Year (2013), UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) Award for Inspiration in Brain Injury (2013) and the Spinal Injuries Association Rebuilding Lives Award in Legal Excellence (2015).

Warren also has significant experience in pursuing personal injury claims throughout the world, having conducted cases across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Caribbean. He has particular expertise with USA claims and is a leading member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) in which he is immediate past co-chair of the International Practice Section, a past member of the board of governors and immediate past co-chair (and founder) of the Spinal Cord Injury Litigation Group. He is the only UK solicitor member to be admitted to the US based National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and the Melvin Belli Society (of pre-eminent personal injury lawyers).

Acting on a multi-million-pound claim for a professional motorcyclist who sustained spinal cord injuries while participating in a high-profile race on the Isle of Man.

Pedestrian struck by bus

Securing a multi-million-pound award for a foreign national struck by a London bus, including interim payments in excess of £1 million to fund rehabilitation and a suitable house purchase.
