Managing associate

Oliver is a managing associate in the commercial dispute resolution team in London. With experience in civil, criminal, and regulatory law, he frequently works on matters where these fields converge. As such, Oliver’s practice focuses on advising companies and individuals in complex commercial civil fraud disputes as well as in internal, law enforcement, and regulator-led investigations.

Advising clients across a wide range of industries and sectors, many of Oliver’s cases have a multi-jurisdictional aspect. He has experience acting on matters involving the US, China, and various African, European and offshore territories. In respect of law enforcement and regulator-led actions, Oliver has acted in matters conducted by the Serious Fraud Office, Financial Conduct Authority, and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. He has also acted as part of cross-border teams in cases involving the US Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, and other foreign national law enforcement and regulatory bodies.

Prior to this, he worked in the London offices of two US-headquartered, international law firms where he advised clients on a wide range of corporate crime matters and commercial disputes.
