Midred Erhard

Associate

Midred is an associate in the Paris office and a French avocat. As a member of the marine, trade and aviation team, she advises and assists businesses and individuals in commercial litigation cases before French courts, with a particular focus on the shipping and road transport sectors.

Her experience extends to working on naval architecture cases and insurance and reinsurance litigation, especially in yachting. Prior to joining the firm, she gained experience in commercial litigation and international arbitration (commercial and investor-state) through internships in various law firms with practice areas that included shipping, construction, mining and oil and gas exploitation. Midred now regularly assists clients in amicable and court-led surveys in shipping, insurance and naval architecture disputes.

Beyond establishing legal strategies to serve our clients’ best interests, I really enjoy learning about their business and area of expertise. The more you know your clients and their sector of business, the better you become at meeting their legal needs and expectations.
