Jenny Wright

Associate

Jenny is an associate in the corporate team in London. She has experience in a broad range of corporate law matters, including private and public mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, private equity and buy-outs, group restructurings, shareholders’ agreements, LLPs and partnerships and general corporate governance issues. She also has experience advising on financial services regulation.

Jenny has acted for clients across a variety of sectors including retail, technology, real estate, education and financial services and has experience advising on both UK and cross-border transactions. This experience has led her to become  a member of Penningtons Manches Cooper’s fashion, luxury and lifestyle sector group and co-editor of the firm’s monthly fashion, luxury and lifestyle news aggregator. She is also a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers.

I am a corporate lawyer advising our clients on a range of complex transactions and offering pragmatic, commercially focused advice. I enjoy understanding the needs of client businesses and helping them to achieve their aims.

Having joined Penningtons as a trainee, Jenny qualified in 2022. Prior to commencing her career, she studied history at the University of York before completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP University, graduating with distinction.

Advising on two substantial fundraises for Siruis Real Estate Limited, which resulted in gross proceeds of more than £146.6 million and £150 million.

Management take-private offer

Advising AIM-listed Rotala Plc on its take-private transaction, which won the Deal of the Year (£10-50 million) category at the Insider Midlands Dealmaker Awards 2024.

Not-for-profit acquisition

Acting for The Institute of Leadership and Management on its acquisition of ABE Global Ltd, two not-for-profit organisations in the education sector.

£12.5 million equity fundraising

Advising Cavendish Capital Markets as nominated adviser and broker to Revolution Bars Group Plc on a £12.5 million fundraising through a firm placing, a subscription and a placing and open offer.

£10.5 million equity fundraising

Advising Cavendish Capital Markets as nominated adviser and broker to SRT Marine Systems Plc on a £10.5 million fundraising with new and existing investors.

Advising a well-known UK property development company on a number of real estate acquisitions and group reorganisations.
