James Harrison

Partner

James is a partner in the commercial dispute resolution team, acting as a commercial litigator for a wide variety of clients: high net worth individuals; corporations; and families. His clients are based in the UK as well as internationally and he has experience of acting in cross-border disputes, including in international arbitration.

James is an experienced commercial litigator dealing with corporate dispute resolution, whether by formal court/arbitration proceedings or alternative dispute resolution. His work is primarily focused on complex commercial cases, including director and shareholder disputes, as well as partnership breakdowns, general contractual matters, and contentious restructuring and insolvency. His wealth of experience in this area means that he is often involved at the very early stages of a case to provide no-nonsense strategic guidance to boards.

I take pride in being a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses in distress by making their problems my own. I have always been fascinated by the complexity of how individuals and businesses structure their dealings and in finding solutions to seemingly intractable problems.
