Hannah Faulkner

Senior associate

Hannah is an associate in the marine, trade and aviation team in the firm’s London office. She has a broad range of experience in the sector, encompassing commodities, international trade and dry shipping disputes, including those arising out of charterparties, bills of lading and ship management agreements.

She also has a particular interest in claims raising issues of off-specification and dangerous cargo and safe port warranties. Hannah regularly advises owners, charterers, and commodities houses and their respective P&I clubs, in multi-jurisdictional proceedings in the High Court, LMAA arbitration, and mediation. In addition to her dry shipping expertise, Hannah specialises in both contentious and non-contentious matters within the yachting industry. She regularly advises on transactional matters, such as sale and purchases, re-fits, and charters, as well as contentious matters, including warranty disputes and casualties.

I am a contentious shipping lawyer with a keen interest in assisting clients by resolving a range of disputes in a focussed and effective manner. My experience in the industry lends to my ability to pinpoint commercial solutions to legally complex issues.
