Greg is an accomplished real estate development and investment lawyer with nearly 20 years of experience. His approach combines detailed legal insight and pragmatism with an appreciation of his clients’ key commercial drivers and a dedication to achieve them.

His successful track record spans a broad spectrum of high-value and complex transactions within the office, retail, logistics and purpose-built student accommodation sectors. Greg’s work encompasses the full property life cycle from the acquisition, financing and development of assets, to their letting, management and disposal. He has particular expertise in the delivery of complex projects that are underpinned by development management arrangements, through a number of recent high-profile rail-related schemes with extensive asset and infrastructure protection arrangements.

I work with our clients to deliver developments and facilitate real estate transactions ranging from single occupancy units to multi-occupancy schemes and large projects spanning a number of years. Landmark building

Acting for an overseas investor on the development of a landmark building in west London that provides over 400,000 sq ft of office and retail space and interfaces with adjoining railway stations.

Co-development management schemes

Advising an iconic development manager on the establishment of co-development management agreements for several office-led developments in central London with anticipated gross developed values of up to around £2 billion.

Mainline station upgrade

Assisting a joint venture vehicle in its proposed redevelopment of a mainline central London railway station intended to deliver a new upgraded concourse, as well as approximately 500,000 sq ft of offices, retail and hotel space.

Industrial forward purchase

Acting for an institutional investor on its £46 million speculative forward purchase of an industrial estate in south-east London, which was in the course of development and comprised 14 industrial units.

Railway station development

Advising a private investor and developer on the asset protection arrangements relating to the construction of a new railway station.

Occupier relocation

Assisting a commercial occupier with its relocation to a larger 36,000 sq ft industrial unit, which included advising it on the procurement of on-site and off-site works to upgrade the power supply.
