Bethan Horsfield-Marrs

Bethan is an associate in the medical negligence and personal injury team in Guildford. She works with senior members of the team on a wide variety of medical negligence claims, including those relating to orthopaedic, spinal and brain injuries, as well as high value claims for catastrophic injuries from road traffic accidents.
She deals with medical negligence claims against NHS trusts and private surgeons in a number of different areas including delay in obstetric and gynaecological, ophthalmic and cardiological diagnoses. She also has a special interest in obstetric and gynaecological claims and those dealing with surgical care.
I am a personal injury and medical negligence lawyer who strives to provide support and knowledge to clients throughout their claim and during such a difficult period of their life.
Bethan has experience of claims dealing with failures in the diagnosis and treatment of appendicitis as well as personal injury claims following road traffic accidents, particularly relating to orthopaedic injuries.
She joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in 2020 as a paralegal but went on to be a trainee solicitor and to gain a wide range of experience in different practice areas during her training contract. Bethan qualified as a solicitor into the medical negligence and personal injury team in March 2023.
