Ben Porter

Associate

Ben is an associate (FCILEx) practicing in the personal injury and medical negligence team, based out of the Birmingham and London offices. He has extensive experience of representing claimants in complex and high-value multi-track claims, including road traffic accidents, employer’s liability, occupier’s liability, public liability and secondary victim matters, from the pre-action stage through litigation to trial.

As a result of his experience, Ben has worked on many varied and complex cases during his 11 years in the industry, often representing clients who have suffered brain damage, amputation or severe polytrauma as a result of the negligence of others. Ben regularly secures six-figure damages awards on behalf of his clients, and has also been heavily involved in assisting partners with achieving seven-figure damages awards.

I take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to litigation, prioritising rehabilitation, and, wherever possible, securing interim payments at the earliest possible stage of the claim. This ensures that my clients receive the best possible treatment and level of care that they both need and deserve.
