Senior associate

Andy is a senior associate in the banking and finance team. He advises on a wide range of banking and finance facilities, acting for both borrowers and lenders.

Andy’s lender clients include commercial banks, specialist debt funds and alternative lenders, and he has considerable experience across a range of transactions, including acquisition finance deals, real estate finance (both investment and development), receivables finance and general corporate banking.

I work closely with clients to understand their commercial goals and provide clear, practical advice. Whether supporting on complex transactions or day-to-day matters, I aim to deliver responsive, solutions-focused support that helps businesses move forward with confidence.

He also has a wealth of experience advising lenders, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders on insolvency procedures and restructuring distressed lending.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 2012, Andy joined Penningtons Manches Cooper in May 2022 from another leading Midlands law firm.
