Ailsa Moorhouse

Senior associate

Ailsa is a senior associate in the private client and tax team. She has experience in a broad range of private client matters including wills, lasting powers of attorney, advance directives and other issues concerning mental capacity.

She also deals with trusts and the administration of estates (those involving more straightforward and lower value assets, as well as matters with complex, high value or foreign assets), including applications for grants of representation, post-death variations of estates and the re-sealing of colonial grants.

I aim to understand my clients’ particular circumstances and needs, and to approach my work recognising that each person is different and that matters involving death, planning for death, and mental capacity can be difficult and emotive topics for people to face.
