Penningtons Manches Cooper advises Tibidabo Scientific Industries on its acquisition of XCAM Scientific
The corporate team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised Tibidabo Scientific Industries Ltd, a global leader in advanced imaging technologies, on its acquisition of XCAM Scientific Ltd, a world-class developer of complete camera systems, including vacuum-compatible applications and large-area, multi-detector solutions.
XCAM has more than 30 years’ experience and has played a key role in a number of internationally significant space missions. Its expertise includes space-qualified camera systems, ultra-low-light imaging, and advanced electronics, with deployments spanning scientific research, aerospace and industrial applications worldwide.
Tibidabo is a global leader and supplier of advanced technologies for scientific research, aerospace and industrial markets. With expertise spanning radiobiology, stem cell research, high‑performance imaging, radiation detection, surveillance and space exploration, the company supports customers working at the cutting edge of discovery.
The acquisition represents a significant strategic milestone for Tibidabo, strengthening its capabilities across scientific, space and industrial imaging, and building on XCAM’s distinguished heritage in delivering bespoke, mission-critical imaging systems for high-impact space and research programmes.
The Penningtons Manches Cooper corporate team advising Tibidabo was led by managing associate Hannah McIlwraith with support from associate Holly Sargeant.
