Penningtons Manches Cooper advises Lucy Group on acquisition of Blakley Electrics Ltd
The corporate team at Penningtons Manches Cooper has advised Lucy Group on its acquisition of Blakley Electrics Ltd, a UK market leader in power distribution systems and industrial lighting equipment.
This strategic acquisition strengthens Lucy Group’s position in the power and industrial lighting sectors, broadening the range of services provided to its customers.
Established in 1957, Blakley Electrics specialises in the design and manufacture of permanent and temporary LV power distribution equipment, protection products, site lighting, and transformers. The company operates manufacturing facilities in Crayford, Kent, and Harlow, Essex, drawing on more than 50 years’ experience in specialist sheet metal fabrication and the electrical assembly of distribution, protection and transformer products. An engineering centre is also located at the Harlow site.
The Penningtons Manches Cooper team advising Lucy Group was led by corporate partner Will Axtell, with support from senior associate Danielle Broadhead.
