Leading family law specialist Amanda Andrews has joined top 50 law firm Penningtons Manches Cooper as a partner in its family practice and private wealth group. Her arrival brings the total number of family partners at the firm to 14 – the largest cohort amongst the top tier firms ranked by the leading legal directories.
Prior to joining Penningtons Manches Cooper, Amanda was head of the family department at Winckworth Sherwood. She has more than two decades of experience in all aspects of family law, with significant expertise in complex children, financial and property issues including offshore trusts and corporate structures.
Amanda is also a trained mediator with a strong belief in working with clients to resolve issues without recourse to court proceedings wherever possible, and an active member of Resolution, the country’s leading association of family lawyers.
Consistently ranked as a Leading Individual by the Legal 500 Amanda is described in the 2020 edition as “a first-class lawyer who nails it every time”. She is also recognised by specialist publisher Citywealth as a prominent figure in its Leading Lawyers Honours List.
