Student wins compensation from landlord for injuries caused by broken window

We have recently agreed damages on behalf of a young student resident against his landlord following a significant laceration to his wrist resulting from the unsafe state of a broken window.

The tenants had reported the broken window to the landlord.

Our client lacerated his arm on the window and required emergency surgery for complete tendon division. Although he recovered fully with no long lasting functional effects, he has been left with permanent scarring.

We were able to agree a settlement of £9,975 in damages for our client.
