Profile

Justin is a partner in the real estate team. He specialises in portfolio management and has considerable experience across the property ownership life cycle. This ranges from acquiring and disposing of single units to multi-let industrial and retail estates, and acting for both landlords and tenants in all estate management matters.

Justin previously acted for National Grid in respect of all operational work whether electric or gas. He is recognised by The Legal 500 as a key practice member.

Recent work highlights

Leading a team advising Lafarge Tarmac on a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP). With a value potential between £133 million and £333 million (depending on overage provisions), the work involved the grant of an option to a developer to purchase freehold land in Swanscombe and to take an easement over other access land owned by a JV company, to be developed as a leisure resort.
Acting for Orange Business Holdings on the acquisition of its new UK head office, the first building constructed in the UK to receive WELL certification.
Structuring a sale, escrow and overage payment arrangement for sale of redevelopment land to a local authority, with both parties contributing funds for works to improve the client-owned retail shopping centre.
