Sam Mullender

Senior associate

Sam is a senior associate in the firm’s construction advisory and dispute resolution team, based in London. He handles a broad range of claims arising under construction contracts, and has experience of all forms of dispute resolution.

Very active in the field of building safety, Sam regularly advises developers, freeholders, leaseholders, managing agents and resident management companies as regards their rights of recourse against those responsible for building safety defects and insurance cover under NHBC and Premier Guarantee policies. In addition, he is instructed to advise clients in connection with issues arising from the developer’s remediation contract and the Building Safety Act 2022, and to negotiate terms for the remediation of unsafe buildings by developers.

I work tirelessly to ensure that clients receive an excellent service throughout the life of a matter, and ultimately achieve a favourable outcome. I bring over a decade of experience in construction disputes, and have been at the forefront of the building safety agenda following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

He is often instructed to advise clients on issues surrounding the termination of construction contracts.
