Peter is a partner and the head of the construction and infrastructure team in London. Specialising in construction and related insurance disputes, he is recognised by The Legal 500 as 'an energetic and effective litigator' and is highly experienced in resolving disputes arising on building, infrastructure and other engineering projects. He regularly advises property owners, developers, employers, contractors, professionals and insurers on claims and dispute avoidance during projects and, where required, represents clients in all types of litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation.

An RICS panel adjudicator, Peter has particular expertise in the use of adjudication to resolve final account disputes, disputes regarding change, delay claims, termination and other issues. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Peter is a ‘go to person’ for technically complex defects claims, advising following the discovery of defects through to the effective resolution of any ensuing dispute. He also brings expertise in advising on insurance coverage under contractors’ all risks, contract works, public liability and professional indemnity insurance policies.
